All our courses have a proven structure that builds session by session for maximum effect and easy, reinforced learning.  We only use modern, accessible premises with refreshments available before and after sessions.

Public courses are held regularly in Shropshire:

  • Daytime courses run from 2.15pm to 3.45 pm, on the same weekday for eight weeks
  • Evening courses run from 7.15pm to 8.45pm, on the same weekday for eight weeks
  • Weekend intensives are Saturday and Sunday, 10.00am to 5.30pm over two weekends with a break between the weekends
  • One day weekends run from 10.00am to 5.30pm, with themed content according to demand.

Wellbeing 1 - Foundation

Specific sessions will cover:

  • Sources and effects of stress, and ways of dealing with it
  • The nature and importance of physical pain, its effects, and how to minimise your discomfort
  • Emotional distress such as loss or rejection, and the key to working with emotional pain
  • Role stress and time pressures, and converting these into helpful flow states
  • Taking care of yourself
  • Establishing your intended future improvements to your health and mental welfare
  • Changing your life

Positive steps to take

Meditations and Mindfulness methods for each of these topics will be explained and practised in class and as homework.

Personal and Career Success 1 - Foundation

By the end of this course you can expect to be able to do the following:·

  • Understand and experience the benefits of your own mindfulness.
  • Develop and evolve your own mindfulness based on daily meditation and mindful movement.
  • Know how to include mindfulness into your everyday life.
  • Be able to identify and understand the attitudes of mindfulness.
  • Monitor and evaluate your own experiences – thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
  • Understand the link between Emotional Intelligence and Success
  • Consciously take your Emotional Intelligence to a new level
  • Identify the sources and effects of your stress, and options for dealing with them
  • Identify undesirable role stress and time pressures, and how to convert these into helpful flow states
  • Mindfulness in relation to values, goals and decision making
  • Be increasingly in charge of your own destiny
  • Establishing your intended future improvements to your personal and working life

Wellbeing 2 - Insights

This is the follow on course from Wellbeing part 1.  Students will be offered a deeper understanding of

  • The mental effects of meditation
  • The physical effects of meditation and mindfulness
  • Elevated functions
  • Stages of insight into the reality of conscioussness and existence
  • Where is it all going?
  • Changing your life
Personal and Career Success 2 - Insights

This is the follow-on course from Personal and Career Success part 1.  Students will build on the results from part one, and gain a deeper understanding of:

  • The longer term mental effects of meditation and the cumulative nature of the benefits
  • The physical effects of meditation and mindfulness, with particular reference to slowing the ageing process
  • Establishing and maintaining Peak Performance at work and liesure
  • The stages of insight into the reality of consciousness and existence, and how to use them to advantage
  • How to maintain and develop mental and physical balance in the face of future stressors
  • The micro and macro effects of adopting new perspectives around your life
