Groups that comprise colleagues or friends are a great aid to learning.  The group bonds more quickly from the start, there is often more opportunity for mutual motivation and support between lessons, and you might even be able to practice together during and after the course.

All you need to do:

  • Get a group of people together, usually between six and ten, but flexible… The more there are, the less it costs each person.
  • Choose a venue – a room at work, a large-ish room in a house, a village hall…. It just needs to be quiet, with comfortable warmth, ventilation, toilet facilities, and something to drink.
  • Decide your cost structure – do you all pay the same, or do you earn a discount for your efforts in organising?
